Sunny Leone’s song outrages Hindus on Social Media

Kanika Kapoor’s latest track titled Madhuban featuring Sunny Leone has been receiving backlash from netizens. Expressing their displeasure over the music video, users demand to remove this video from YouTube, alleging that Sunny Leone has hurt the sentiments of Hindus through this song.

Sharing the song on Twitter, Sunny asked the users, “Have you watched it yet? #MadhubanSunnyLeone.”

In no time her post was bombarded with comments. One of the users said, “This is shit and yet another attempt to hurt Hindu sentiments!” Another user said, “Radha is not dancer she is a devotee…madhuban is a noble place madhuban mein radha aise dance nahi karti …shameful lyrics.”

One user wrote, “The old song “Madhuban mein Radhika naache re” conveyed her love for Krishna so beautifully. Why use reference to Radhika and Madhuban for a sensual song! This is outrageous!! I get why these songs are made, but come up with something more appropriate for them instead of butchering Hindu sentiments.”

For unversed, Sunny Leone’s Madhuban is remix of an iconic song, `Madhuban mein Radhika naache’ by Mohammad Rafi in the 1960 movie Kohinoor.
