Rohit Sardana, a longtime colleague and friend, and one of India’s most recognized TV anchor, died of a heart-attack on Friday.
41-year-old Sardana, who occasionally penned for our website NewsBred, was suffering from Coronavirus. His shows, both with Zee TV and Aaj Talk, were massive hits, much to the dislike of Left-Liberals and their army on social media.
Within minutes of his death, Rohit Sardana’s wikipedia page was edited with abuse, and vandalized with vile remarks. Some of the abuses are unprintable. Indeed, his wikipedia page was edited 500 times today.
OpIndia took the trouble of scanning the remarks of such forces in Social Media on Rohit’s death and were shocked to find most of them in celebratory mood; scavengers or vultures who feed on dead and yet call themselves human beings.
Sharjeel Usmani, a columnist with News Laundry, poured venom and called Rohit a “sociopath” and “pathological liar” and asked people not to feel sorry for him.

Mohammad Ibrar, who as per his twitter profile is a correspondent with The Times of India, said “death doesn’t absolve crimes.”
Zainab Sikander, columnist with Shekhar Gupta’s ThePrint, tweeted: “you will pay for your karma.”

Indian Express journalist Anya Shankar was upset at the messages of condolences pouring over Rohit Sardana.

Rohit died of cardiac arrest while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Noida on Friday.
He is survived by his wife, two daughters and parents.
Rohit appeared well on his way to recovery from Covid-19. He continued to be active on twitter, thanking tens of thousand wishing him recovery, and also passing on his experience to others.
On Thursday night though his condition took turn for the worse and he was rushed to Metro Multispeciality Hospital in Noida.
Rohit hailed from Kurukshetra in Haryana. He was recipient of the NT Award and ENBA award for the best anchor as well as the prestigious Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Award for Hindi journalism.
Rohit began as an announcer in All India Radio a decade and a half back before turning to TV news journalism.
The prime minister Narendra Modi, home minister Amit Shah as well as many Union ministers have condoled Rohit’s death.
