For last couple of days, the Left-Liberals and Sickulars have been running a propaganda that the visit of senior BJP leader BL Santhosh to Uttar Pradesh was to check if the chief minister Yogi Adityanath is still a popular choice, ahead of the state assembly polls next year.
Well, hours after he completed his two-day review meeting in UP, Santhosh took to Twitter and said that Adityanath managed the Covid-19 crisis in a state of 20 crore plus population “quite effectively.
“In five weeks, @myogiadityanath ‘s Uttar Pradesh reduced the new daily case count by 93% … Remember it’s a state with 20+ Cr population. When municipality CMs could not manage a city of 1.5Cr population, Yogiji managed quite effectively (sic),” Santhosh said in a tweet on Wednesday.

Santhosh, along with Union minister Radha Mohan Singh, reached Uttar Pradesh on May 31 and met many a ministers including Yogi Adityanath himself, and his deputy CMs.
Keshav Prasad Maurya, one of the deputy CMs, said the interaction was to strengthen the organisation in the poll-bound state.
In a brief statement, he said that the BJP would cross 300 seats in the 2022 assembly polls.
