No breakthrough in talks: Farmers’ insistent on repealing of laws

In the sixth round, the ministers, including Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar had taken lunch with the farmers.

In an earlier round, the Centre had conceded two demands of the farmers, keeping them out of the ambit of the penalty for stubble burning and subsidy on electricity. Tomar had said that he was positive about the outcome of the negotiations.
