West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee today complained that the prime minister Narendra Modi never invited her to day’s meet (with chief ministers) on Covid-19 pandemic. “If I would have been invited, I would have certainly gone,” said Banerjee.
She further alleged that Bengal’s oxygen supply chain has been diverted to Uttar Pradesh. “The supply chain is being maintained in BJP states. Where will we get Oxygen from?”.
The reply to Banerjee’s charges came in the form of a tweet by BJP IT Cell’s head Amit Malviya who said: “Everyone knows Mamata Banerjee’s poor commitment to manage Covid pandemic in Bengal. She hasn’t attended a single PM-CM meeting called in recent past to work a common plan citing her campaign schedule. Even though she has failed West Bengal, today’s meeting was only for high burden states.”
