Kannada TV actor Soujanya, real name Savi Madappa, allegedly died by suicide in her apartment at Doddabele near Kumbalgodu in Hyderabad.
Soujanya, 25, who had appeared in films like ‘Chaukattu Fun’ and ‘Nanobbne Olleyavnu’, left behind a four-page note, asking for forgiveness from her family for taking the step.
It seems to have been written over three days, suggesting she was contemplating suicide through this time. There is no indication of her having reached out for help.
“I am only responsible for this…so family, please forgive me…I had promised I’ll never do such stupid thing in my life but I had no option. I was totally killed inside. Day by day, I was going so low. I never seen me like before,” the note said.
Sources close to Soujanya revealed that she was troubled by her deteriorating health and issues in the television industry.
