Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut took a dig at Deepika Padukone, saying depression is a consequence of drug abuse, on Monday.
Taking to her verified Twitter account, Kangana used Deepika’s name in a hashtag.
“Repeat after me, depression is a consequence of drug abuse. So called high society rich star children who claim to be classy and have a good upbringing ask their manager,” MAAL HAI KYA?” #boycottBollywoodDruggies #DeepikaPadukone,” tweeted Kangana.
Notably, a day after Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death on June 14, Deepika had tweeted: “Repeat after me: depression is an illness.”
On June 16, the Padmavat actress had shared: “Repeat after me: depression is a form of mental illness.”
Kangana took a dig at Deepika after Times Now revealed a WhatsApp conversation, which allegedly took place between Deepika and her manager Karishma Prakash, who is reportedly a Kwan Talent Management Agency employee.
The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), investigating the alleged Bollywood-drug nexus, is set to summon Deepika Padukone on the drug-procurement charge.
