Delhi’s deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia who tested Coronavirus positive last week, has been admitted to the city’s Lok Nayak Jayaprakash Hospital after complaints of fever and breathing difficulties.
Sisodia has been under self-isolation at his official residence since testing positive on September 14.
On September 14, Sisodia had tweeted: “After suffering from mild fever, I took a coronavirus test and turned out to be positive. I have isolated myself. I don’t have a fever or any other problem as of now. I am absolutely fine. With your prayers, I am sure, I will return to work after regaining my health.”
The corona cases are rampaging in the Capital. On Tuesday, Delhi logged more than 3,800 fresh cases. It’s numbered now over 2.53 lakhs. Over 5,000 have died so far, including 37 on Tuesday.
It has also led to Parliament being adjourned sine die on Wednesday, much ahead of the scheduled October 1 closure after 30 MPs have tested positive.
