Historic: Trump makes his rupture with EU elites final in Davos

Donald Trump was brilliant in Davos last evening though I see media nitpicking on he using Iceland for Greenland a few times.

That’s petty.

Most still don’t get why he insists on Greenland and forward many reasons in support:

  1. Rare Earths mining and processing could take decades;
  2. US already has a military base in Greenland;
  3. US still has control over Greenland through NATO; why annex it?
  4. Russia and China are using North Sea Route while Greenland passes through the NorthWest route which connects Canada and Europe – so what security through Greenland is he suggesting?

The truth is, Trump on Greenland is more about Europe than Russia-China threat he talks about.

In other words, Trump sees Europe as a bigger drain on the United States than Russia-China could ever be.

He wants this rupture to be irreversible rather than sugarcoat it and allow his enemies in Europe to keep dragging him down.

His stated reasons are now well known: (a) US does all heavy-lifting in defence of Europe; (b) trade between the two heavily disadvantages the United States; (c) European Union keeps dragging feet on Ukraine while he wishes to settle it.

What is hidden from public view is that Trump sees a hand of Europe’s banking elites, in conjunction with the Wall Street, in hollowing out the United States for decades now.

In Trump’s view, these elites hurt the United States in multiple ways:

  1. Encourage illegal, dangerous migrants inside the United States;
  2. Flood the United States with fatal drugs and leave millions of Americans imbecile;
  3. Buy out the Congressmen, bureaucrats, media and the Wall Street and keep any President and the US administration a mere pawn tied to their little finger;
  4. Create chaos, anarchy, regime change and endless wars which benefit the military-industrial complex on one hand and on the other, drag United States in conflicts which it has nothing to do with.

The above opinion is difficult to accept for majority of humanity which believes the chaos, wars, regime changes and all the ills of the world stem from the hegemony and bullying of the United States.

Instead, the Trump administration believes it’s the Globalists, the Davos crowd, which operates through its off-shore tax havens, worth nearly 75 trillion dollars, and uses this insane power of wealth to trigger terrorism, drug and human trafficking and money-laundering around the globe.

It not only actively causes murderous protests leading to regime changes but also controls the United States from the inside and shoots from its shoulders.

It’s draining and drowning the United States in debt, deindustrialization and needlessly footing the bills in insane projects through international bodies which are beyond the jurisdiction of any government or court of law.

Climate change, for instance, in Trump’s view is nothing but a “green hoax scam.”

The Trump administration feels these banking elites would sooner than later destroy the United States. Thus he is pulling the plug on them; asking them to do their own bit and not fatten themselves at US’s expense.

The harsh words he has used for instance on France and Britain, Canada and Switzerland, essentially reflects his anger and bitterness on what these elites have done to the United States over decades.

He wishes to disassociate himself completely from this cabal.

Greenland is just an excuse.

Further, Greenland falls between the US and Europe and by acquiring it, the Trump administration wishes to leave Canada hamstrung which he distrusts completely.

If push comes to shove, Trump wants Greenland to keep Canada separated from Europe lest they cobble together something destructive in the United States’ backyard.

Canada, separated from its lifeline in Europe, would be easier to manage.

As it would turn out in coming months, its the United States which would have a closer cooperation with Russia and China and the three would have their own spheres of influence in the world.

That alone, as Trump perceives, is the key for the US’s salvation while sticking with the European elites would inevitably take the hegemon down the drain with these laggards.
