Union Home Minister Amit Shah targeted Congress scion Rahul Gandhi and alleged that Gandhi is suffering from ‘Modiphobia.’
Speaking at a public meeting in Ponda, Goa, Shah accused Congress’s Gandhi parivar of treating Goa as its tourist destination. They come here often. But as for BJP, we are fulfilling (late Goa chief minister) Manohar Parrikar’s ‘golden Goa.’
He also targeted former chief minister Digambar Kamat-government and said he did nothing on infrastructure development.
He said the BJP government in Goa has worked for development of infrastructure and raised the state’s budget from 432 crore (2013-14) to 2,567 crore in 2021.
Shah also trained his guns towards Trinamool Congress, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) alleging that these parties have entered the contest just to expand their base or get national recognition.
