Prime Minister Narendra Modi showed his hand in gymming while in Meerut to lay the foundation stone for Major Dhyan Chand Sports University.
Modi, ahead of the launch, took a tour of the stalls set up at the university site and inspected artefacts and sports equipment in display there.
In a never-seen-before moment, the Prime Minister was seen training on gym equipment.
The setting up of the sports university will be at the Salawa and Kaili villages of Sardhana town in Meerut at the cost of Rs 700 crores.
