David Warner’s wife Candice has taken a potshot at critics of her husband after the left-hander was named player of the T20 World Cup which Australia won on Sunday.
“Out of Form, too old and slow! Congratulations,” Candice wrote on twitter.
Warner, who was dropped by Sunrisers Hyderabad only a couple of months ago because he was deemed out of form, steered Australia to title win with a fine half century. In all he made 289 runs from seven innings in the tournament.
