Who’s the most popular man in Israel? It’s none other than Modi!

Who is the most popular man in Israel? It’s Indian prime minister Narendra Modi and it’s mentioned by none other than the present Israeli prime minister, Naftali Bennett.

In a video tweeted by the Israeli leader, the two prime ministers were seen sharing a light moment in between their packed schedules at the COP-26 climate summit in Glasgow.

Bennett also invited him to “come join my party” which had PM Modi burst into laughter.

The bilateral ties between the two countries were elevated to a strategic partnership during Modi’s historic visit to Israel in 2017, making him the first Indian prime minister in 70 years to visit Israel.

“I want to thank you. You’re the person who restarted the relationship between India and Israel, which is a deep relationship between two unique civilizations – the Indian civilization, the Jewish civilization – and I know it comes from your heart,” Bennett told PM Modi at the start of the meeting.
