A day after the eviction drive conducted by the administration in Darrang district in Assam turned violent, the state authorities were criticised heavily.
While CM Himanta Biswa Sarma ordered a judicial inquiry, there has been a deliberate attempt to further instigate the matter as leftists tried to create a fake narrative by making the entire violence a matter of ‘human rights violations and religious issue.
As per a report, It has been observed that a lot of the tweets against the government and the eviction drive have exactly the same words and use the same hashtag, hinting at sinister designs. There are numerous tweets trending the hashtag #AssamGenocidalEviction which are carbon copies of each other. In their tweets, they label the eviction drive an ‘RSS conspiracy’.
It must be highlighted that the entire campaign looks similar to the ‘toolkit’ that was created to drive a negative campaign against the Indian Government during farmer protests.
The tweets were exactly same and even carried a poster created by the Students Islamic Organisation of India (SIO), a group infamous for its Islamist inclinations.
Beyond that, not just one, there were different tweets that were copied and circulated on social media with a notorious purpose that is peddling a motivated agenda against the RSS.
Meanwhile, Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma also addressed the media and said that the eviction drive was initiated with an agreed principle that landless will be provided 2 acres each as per land, he also questioned if “Peaceful drive was agreed upon, then who instigated the mob of illegal encroachers.
