A man identified as Pascal Munda was crushed to death by an agitated elephant on NH39 in Numaligarh of Upper Assam on Sunday.
A group of labourers and passerby on the national highway teased a herd of elephants. As one of the elephants got agitated, he chased down the crowd. Kaswan fell while running and the elephant crushed him to death.
Kaswan was rushed to a hospital where he was declared dead.
