A war of words has broken out between Assam’s chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and Mizoram chief minister Zoramthanga after the border clash of Monday which led to death of five policemen from Assam.
Assam government urged the neighbouring state to restrain its “people and police personnel” from indulging in “wanton violence.”
Mizoram home minister Lalchamliana on the other hand says that around 200 Assam police personnel forcibly crossed the duty post manned by the CRPF.
Himanta Biswa Sarma meanwhile has posted a video on his twitter handle, claiming it shows how the Mizoram Police and locals are celebrating—“Sad and Horrific”.
