With his two sons already in BJP ranks, father Sisir Adhikari is also set to join the party in a rally of prime minister Narendra Modi at Kanthi in East Midnapore on March 24. Sisir is Lok Sabha MP from the same constituency.
It was Suvendu Adhikari, the bete noire of Mamata Banerjee, who had announced earlier in the day that his father would also join him in BJP. Speaking at a rally at Chandipur today, Suvendu Adhikari claimed that his father would be at Amit Shah’s rally too.
