Actress Saayoni Ghosh has been declared a candidate from Asansol South for the West Bengal assembly elections by Trinamool Congress. Nothing odd in it except this is the same actress who had tweeted a picture of a female character putting a condom over the sacred Hindu symbol of Shivling once.
Saayoni wrote on the picture on February 18, 2015: “Gods cudnt have been more useful.” This she did on the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri.
If nothing, this is a complete contempt from Trinamool Congress towards the Hindu sentiment though truth to tell, Ghosh had subsequently claimed her account had been hacked.
