Late on Monday night, when international singer-actress Rihanna posted a semi naked photo of her sporting a necklace with a Ganesha pendant on Twitter, the netizens were quick to present their displeasure and accused her for hurting the religious sentiments of a community.
The users called her out for using the image of Hindu deity as her aesthetic. She was promoting her lingerie brand Savage X Fenty. Lately, another Fenty model, Coucou Chloe was seen doing a photoshoot at Hindu temple. However, the same model last year had apologised to Muslim community after she played songs with Hadiths in virtual runway show for her lingerie brand Fenty.
Rihanna recently came under attention for tweeting a pre-planned tweet for the ‘farmer protest’ earlier this month.
