6 Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorists killed in J & K; 2 of them Pakistani nationals

The Jammu and Kasmir security forces killed six Jaish-e-Mohammad militants, including a foreign national, in an overnight twin encounter in the Anantnag and Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir. 

Sharing details of the encounter, IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar mentioned that while four of the killed terrorist have been identified; two as Pakistani nationals and two as local terrorists, the identification of the other two terrorists is under investigation. 

The first encounter started at Nowgam Anantnag where, according to police, one policeman was injured in the shootout.  A police official informed that they launched a search operation after receiving information about the presence of militants at Nowgam. 

Soon after the Anantnag encounter, security forces launched another operation at Mirhama in Kulgam where three terrorists were killed in a brief encounter.
